Dear Colleague
We would like to deliver some good news to your researchers. From
1st September, the Document Download Manager will be available on
ScienceDirect.
Currently when your researchers want to download multiple articles
they have to do them one at a time. But now with the Document Download
Manager we are making it easier and faster to download articles.

"My first reaction to the
DDM is that it will be useful, particularly as this allows
naming conventions for the article and default storing locations
to be specified. I can see big advantages of saving download
time when I do multiple file downloads, and all that gets
done in parallel." Dr. S. Venkadesan, Librarian, JRD
Tata Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Sciences

With Document Download Manager, ScienceDirect
researchers can now download up to 20 PDF files in one go. In a
few simple steps it is now possible to select, download and save
multiple documents simultaneously.
Easy default options are available
for re-naming PDF files, but users can also create their own file-naming
conventions. They can also specify which location / folder the Download
Manager saves the files - so no more lost articles!
