Geological diversity provides

When the third
edition [of this book] becomes due, perhaps in 2015, our view
of the solar system will, no doubt, have changed again. While
this means that a volume such as this is immediately out of

snapshot of today's knowledge. Given the challenges involved
in such a task, they have done an excellent
job.
